Wolverine starts shooting

The Wolverine, the follow-up to 2009′s critically-panned X-Men Origins: Wolverine isfinally due to start shooting next week after several delays.

The film, directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day) and starring Hugh Jackman as Logan, will first shoot on location in Japan and then move to sound stage in Australialater this summer.

Word is that the film is based on the famous 1982 Wolverine limited series by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont, which took Wolvie to Japan for martial arts training and risky romance. Fox CEO Tim Rothman has promised that The Wolverine will take full advantage of local Japanese acting talent while on location.

The Wolverine slices into theaters July 26, 2013.

Blizzard DOTA is becoming Blizzard All-Stars as part of an agreement between Blizzard and Valve over the rights to the DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) name.

Valve gets the commercial rights to DOTA and gets to keep the title for DOTA 2, while Blizzard will continue to use “DOTA” non-commercially to describe the genre that originally spawned the DOTA name: player-made maps for Warcraft 3 and StarCraft 2.

“We’re pleased that we could come to an agreement with Blizzard without drawing things out in a way that would benefit no one,” said Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve. “We both want to focus on the things our fans care about, creating and shipping great games for our communities.”

That’s fine by Blizzard, which says the Blizzard All-Stars title is a better reflection of the game it’s making. The company says the reasons will be come clear “at a later date.”

WoW update

I recently changed guilds in wow with all my high lvl toons. I left F.F.E due to pressure to get geared and raid and i just dont want to raid like that anymore. I got burnt out raiding in B.C and then in WoTLK I cant say anything bad about F.F.E. its not them just me ... i refuse to live in a game anymore and let my life and family suffer for it .. been there done that ... hurt the people that matter by doing so .. like the tip says when you log into wow ( remember to take all things in moderation "Even World of Warcraft ") The new guild I joined is called Knights Of Freedom, seems like a really laid back have fun kind of guild , we went in last night and went thru MC (Molten Core) just for rep and the chance at the legendary weapons . All in all i think Vixx will like it in here once we get her toons in there ... Ill be posting some videos later today and i was supposed to do a black wing lair raid tonight but instead Stubbs is coming over and were going to get his gear fixed so he can fight saturday at War ... which i will post pics ,videos and info about sunday or monday... thats all for now from the House Of Geek ... What happened to Mono Red decks ?

Red has lost a lot .... It has lost amazing burn spells: Lightning Bolt, Burst Lightning, Forked Bolt, Searing Blaze, and Staggershock. It’s lost terrific aggressive creatures: Goblin Guide, Plated Geopede, Kargan Dragonlord, and Kiln Fiend. Gone are the combo cards: Pyromancer Ascension and Splinter Twin. Red is no longer the power color in Standard.
